Puppy Update: Dano Begins His New Adventure in Ireland
Share
Every puppy’s journey is special, but Norsk’s story is one we’re particularly excited to share. At almost six months old, this lovely youngster—born to Rosie and Kugae of Kugae Gundogs—has officially started his new life across the water in Ireland.
Dano, previously named Norsk, was one of nine in a strong, healthy litter. From the beginning, he stood out for his bright attitude, level-headed nature, and that unmistakable sparkle in his eye. Watching him grow these past months has been a pleasure, and although it’s always bittersweet to see one of our pups leave, knowing they are heading to a wonderful forever home makes the moment a proud one.

Travel days can be tiring even for seasoned humans, let alone puppies. After a few long waits due to a rough sea, he arrived at the port tail wagging, showing the resilience that runs strong through his breeding. He reunited with his new owners, before boarding the ferry where the adventure really began.
Settled in and Already a Local Favourite
One of Dano’s first stops on his way to Ireland was, amusingly enough, the local bar - where he made himself right at home. Perched happily beside his new owners, he took in the sights, sounds, and new faces with a calm confidence that would make any trainer proud. We hear he charmed everyone he met, and we’re not surprised!
Now fully settled in, Dano has embraced his new surroundings. He’s exploring his home, bonding beautifully with his new family, and beginning the next chapter of what promises to be a fantastic working and companionship journey.

Looking Ahead
We love seeing our pups thrive in their new homes, and Dano is no exception. His future looks bright - filled with training, adventures, and plenty of affection. We’re delighted for his new family and can’t wait to follow his progress as he grows into the dog we always knew he would become.
Safe travels, Dano, and welcome to your new life in Ireland. You’re already making us proud!
